We really enjoyed our stay at the St. Augustine Ocean & Racquet Resort. The rooms were clean and in very good shape. The ocean was a stone's throw away, and St. Augustine was a great city to visit.

As usual we had a wonderful time at the Ocean Racquet Resort. Even with the weather being what it was. It is just so relaxing to hang out at the beach and spend time down town in the Historic area. This is our 28th year of coming to St Augustine. Can't wait till next year.

For us, coming to St Augustine means visiting our grandchildren who live in the Shores. But we stay at ORC for the beach, tennis and resort atmosphere. And thank you for making that especially easy over the holidays. Dont miss Wine Wholesaler for deals half the price we get in Ohio. Beachcomber is just a 3/4 mile walk up the beach. Its the only bar and grill on the beach between Jacksonville and Miami! Great steamed oysters and Mirocan stew. The only thing I can think to improve our vacation would be to stay longer. A broadband Internet connection would help, too. But the new library can provide that if I can get there in my swim trunk and muscle shirt.

My sister and I spent four days at the Ocean and Racquet Club last summer. We had a wonderful stay. I really think the people who worked there and the guests who came made the best impression on us. We loved the pool and spent hours floated in it. The beach was great but the weather made the water choppy. I teach and thoroughly enjoyed watching children frolic in the ocean waves. The ocean air helped both my sister and me with our sinus problems. The accomodation was wonderful too! We even used the washer and dryer. Having satellite TV was a treat. Having two bedrooms and two bathrooms was luxury. If I could suggest one thing, it would be to add more lighting in the living room. Otherwise, the decor, the kitchen, the proximity to pools, to beach, to stores, to restaurants, and to shopping is perfect. My sister and I want to come back as soon as we can. See you all there. A good friend and I stayed at St. Augustine Ocean and Racquet for a few days in February 2008. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Coming from the frigid north, we particularly enjoyed the private beach access and the heated pool. Overall, we had a very relaxing experience. The staff was pleasant, the other guests were friendly, and the resort itself was incredibly well maintained. Our unit was lovely: two bathrooms, cable, great kitchen, comfy couches, and a jacuzzi right outside our door. We loved it!

We have vacationed in St Augustine for the past ten summers. St. Augustine Beach never disappoints. From the sighting of the Spanish architecture downtown to crossing the Bridge of Lions, it is magical. The beach is wide and flat for walking or bicycling. Several years, we have visited the last week of May, immediately after school is out . This is a wonderful way to begin the summer break. Last season, we were able to take advantage of fall rates in late July. The complex is large and safe. Hibiscus bloom all summer. This would be a wonderful destination for a family reunion. We just returned from a great spring break at the ORC. We just cant imagine staying at any other place in Florida. We have been coming with our kids since they were 5 and 3 years old. They are now 19 and 17. We are coming back in September but without our kids. This year they will both be in college so this is a very special trip for us. We cant wait! Our trip was made to attend a high school graduation in Jacksonville on May 30th along with a family gathering at the property.

The property was found to be well maintained internally along with the grounds professionally landscaped making for a very pleasant stay from May 28th through June 1st.

My friend and I came for a long weekend to visit my daughter who is a graduate student attending the University of Saint Augustine. She had to study during most of our stay which made the resort that much more convenient than a hotel room. We were able to find our way to downtown Old Saint Augustine with plenty of sights, restaurants and shops. We walked on the beach every morning and when we slowed down enough to lay on the beach, my daughter was able to meet us and at least was in our presence while she studied. At night we watched TV in the living room, enjoyed our own bottle of wine from the Winery, and each went to bed at different times without worry that the lights or TV would disturb the other.

There were many great restaurants, some were within walking distance. It all added up to a fabulous weekend!

My husband and I will be traveling to Saint Augustine at least one more time � for graduation!!! We will have 3-5 family members with us. We will definitely be back! (Maybe we will have time to use the Jacuzzi and pool.)

We really enjoyed our June stay at Ocean and Racquet. We love going back every year. The family atmosphere and clean conditions make us recommend it to friends and family.

This June marked our fourth and "best" year staying at the St.Augustine Ocean and Racquet Resort. In fact, we even included more of our family and reserved 2 "next door" condos. Our only regret, as always, was that the time went by too quickly. Next year we will simply have to extend our stay...again!

I wanted to email you to let you know how great a time we just had at the condo. My name is Heather Hunt and we just left the condo Saturday the 12th (Boo Hoo). We have stayed at numerous other condos/hotels and have never felt as comfortable in any as we have with St. Augustine Ocean and Racquet Resort. The room (4207, we are partial) is like being at home, without the clutter, we enjoy the family feeling, the security, we even love the ducks! I would recommend this resort to anyone, and wouldn�t change a thing (except maybe the check-out time, we sleep so good we have a hard time getting up and out by 10 AM).

This is the 2nd time weve stayed at the Ocean and Racquet Resort. We just love it. We are just average folks and cant afford to spend a lot of money when we travel. Cant beat the price and the amenities. The friendly staff is always helpful. The rooms weve had have been very comfortable and clean and plenty of room to spread out. Why stay in a hotel when you can have a two bedroom, two bath condo on the beach with 2 pools and tennis courts and 24 hour security for about the same price? Its a no brainer. The location is very convenient to all the things there are to do in St. Augustine. I cant wait until we can go back. Thanks for all you do keep things nice and also reasonably priced!!!

My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ocean and Racquet Resort. It was great being at the
beach and a short drive from downtown St. Augustine to enjoy all the sights. The pool was very big and it was nice having the covered area to get out of the sun. The beach so close was enjoyable.
The acoustics in the building was great - you never knew that there were other people in the
condos next to you. I liked having the courtyard with the jacuzzi - right outside the room - that was nice. Looking forward to next time

We have been coming to St. Augustine Ocean & Racquet Club for a number of years with our children. Now all of them grown. Our daughter decided to get married on the beach there this year. Attached is a wedding picture. The beach wedding was marvelous. We always have a great time when we come there. It is one of our favorite vacation spots. We think back over the years and wonder why we never purchased one of the condo units ourselves. It is a family memory for all of us! It is as nice now as it was years ago when we first visited. Our weekend at the Ocean and Racquet Resort was awesome. From waking to the sunrise, walking on the beach, lounging at the pool, everything was glorious! I cant think of a better place to stay in St. Augustine, and to think we were initially considering a local hotel for a family reunion! Wrong! We spent a week in an ocean front unit in mid Sept., and had a great time. We were in town from NY for a family wedding and family members rented 5 units. Our 3rd floor unit had a magnificent view and we enjoyed spending time on the balcony. All the comforts of home were there and we loved being close to everything!
There were 2 restaurants we really loved. The Santa Maria was wonderful & food excellent. We had a great time & great food at Salt Water Cowboys- would definitely recommend this place! It has great prices, variety of menu items (alligator tail & frog legs!) and great atmosphere- it overlooks the marsh its built on.
Hope to visit again!

We were right near the beach which was gorgeous and the sound of the surf was so peaceful. It was too cold to swim but the jacuzzi was fabulous and we took full advantage of it. While we were there we also enjoyed visiting the old city at St Augustine as well as the Fort and Ripleys Belive it or Not museum. There is something for everyone to do and I highly reccomend it.

We just wanted to drop you a line to tell you how much we enjoyed our stay during Thanksgiving week. My wife came down two days ahead of me for wonderful retreat from the busyness of life. She enjoyed the great views of sunrise on the balcony with her morning coffee along with solitary walks on the beach each day. Once I arrived we enjoyed spending time sitting on the beach reading or just being mesmerized by the ocean. The accommodations were just right for us and the Ocean & Racquet Club was nice and peaceful. The highlight of our trip was visiting the Nights of Lights in the city and shopping at 12:00 a.m. at the outlet malls.

Hello,

Just wanted to let you know that it is been our 4th Christmas holiday spent at the Ocean and Racquet Club and we love it! We are from Canada and my husband and I come down to Florida after hosting a �pre-Christmas� party for family and friends. It is sooo great to leave the snow and cold behind us for a while� We always stay in the same unit (we love its cheerful atmosphere) and have bought and left little things (such as glasses�) that are still there when we come back�it feels like home�!!! The units have everything one needs, the pool is just perfectly heated and even when it is relatively cool outside we have been able to sunbathe, protected and warmed by the white fence around it� Every morning, we watch the sunrise from our balcony and what a sight it is� the beach is gorgeous and it is a nice walk to some yummy restaurants (Mango Mango, Stir it up, the Oasis for great breakfasts, and a bit further, the famous Sunset Grille)� By the way, the St. Augustine Beach New Years Eve fireworks are absolutely gorgeous�

A colleague of mine who has retired was looking for a place to stay for several months during winter and I recommended the Ocean and Racquet Resort� She is now been going for several years� The first year, she told me that she checked out quite a few other resorts around (and knowing her shopping style, she was thorough) and concluded that this was the best !

My husband and I stayed at the St. Augustine Ocean and Racquet Resort for 9 days in March of 2008. The facility was immaculate, convenient to everything, beautiful and stocked with just about anything you would need. The close proximity to the beach was the best part. We were able to walk the beach twice a day, and sunsets from our lovely terrace were breathtaking. Would we return? Yes! In a heartbeat. The staff was helpful, friendly and accommodating. It was a wonderful vacation and one I hope to repeat many times!

Even though we hit that 8-day period of torrential rain in May, we still enjoyed our vacation at St. Augustine Ocean and Racquet Resort! Your condos are so comfortable and convenient, and we always enjoy the wonderful views from our balcony. This time the ducks enjoyed swimming more than we did, but they were fun to watch as they swam in the parking lot which temporarily became their personal spa! During the storm we were happy to be in such a safe area, and we still managed to have a couple of days in the sun on the beach, and were happy to have enough space to invite family over for a Memorial Day lunch and beach time. Your resort will continue to be our first choice for a relaxing vacation at St. Augustine Beach, and we are so glad that we found you! We enjoyed our recent stay with Ocean & Racquet Club. We had a beautifully decorated first floor unit. My daughter enjoyed the hot tub and made a friend. We also enjoyed feeding the resident ducks. Some of the units are nicer than others but the resort never changes it is always great! The unit was fantastic in decor and easy use of appliances. The view was unbeatable, second floor, from balcony watching ships, people, and wildlife.
