Good value for decent place

The condo was fine. It served its purpose well. It’s not one of the closer units toward the beach but still not a bad walk to get to the boardwalk. You can be on the beach in about 3 minutes. There’s no view since it’s street level. The condo was very dated and could desperately use some updating and new living room furniture. It looks to have been furnished from goodwill from1987. We found the beds to be pretty comfortable. The kitchen has everything you’d need. Almost too much stuff to where it’s super stuffed into cabinets. Hand mixer needs to be replaced. Beaters were rusty. We loved that it was ground level for easy access to beach and the car, however the lock on the sliding door was duct taped shut and there was no way to lock the door. Not even a dowel to place in the track. So that was hugely problematic. We didn’t notice till after 5:00 on Friday so the office staff was gone. I walked to the guard house where the attendant was incredibly rude informing me there was nothing he could do and told me not once but twice that “this isn’t a hotel.” The office staff did get maintenance over there two days later and it was promptly repaired. We were told no beach chairs were provided, so we packed some. Turned out they did have some under one of the twin beds. We found them the day we moved out while checking under beds to make sure we didn’t leave anything. All in all the place was absolutely fine. I’d probably rent a different one next time though.
