Sunshine State & Condo

Hello, The condo is accessible to those with mobility issues as it is on the first floor, receives sunshine all day long on the patio and is in a quiet area of the resort. You can hear the ocean waves if your windows are open or on the patio and it is a short distance walk to the beach. But if you are loaded up with items for the beach you can access the beach by 4×4 vehicle from A Street and park in front of the condo beach access. This way if you need to run back to the room you can. The condo its self is exactly as shown in the pictures and is very well maintained and we enjoyed it was a corner unit as it allowed more light into the condo. The couch of the condo was extremely comfortable and is down- filled which I appreciated and did not expect. The twin second bedroom was equipped with a tv and dvd player, the two beds and was quite spacious. The condo also had items to use on the beach; 2 boogie boards, 1 air float, and we have left 2 paddles for pong on the beach and a football. We were happily surprised to have had two beach chairs to use as well. We flew to Florida from Montreal and did not have the opportunity to bring many of these items with us in comparison to those who drove. The hot tub was a wonderful bonus and it was kept at 103 and soothed you after a beautiful day enjoyed at the beach. The small improvements to the condo and honestly I am not sure who is responsible for the small things (office or owner) needed are new bedding for the twin beds one comforter has a large rip in it and new pillows are needed they are very uncomfortable to sleep on for longer than a few days. There is a lack of cutlery for more than one meal for a family of four and stemware for wine (3 glasses). But there were plenty of glasses, pots, baking pans, toaster, coffee maker, mixer if you would like to bake. Wifi was an issue when we arrived for the first three days and I felt the office staff should have assisted and followed up with us. We worked with the technician and paid for a weeks service to access the internet which will be reimbursed by the office staff. If you are in St. Augustine over the holidays the fire works display is fantastic and is a must see for all ages. Places I would highly recommend if you have a car: A1A Fish Shop – There smokes salmon and fresh fish is absolutely delicious (Crescent Beach) Salt Life – Ask for Tessa as a server she is hilarious, young and provides excellent service Upscale Dining: Caps on the Water (Vilano Beach) ask for Andrew and the GM – Brian, the food, atmosphere, and views of the sunset incredible Catch 27 (St. Augustine) – ask for Josh, and if you want a reservation to sit inside book early as it is a small restaurant inside but has a plentiful patio area. Food was Flordian farm to table style
